PROGRAM

9.00 – 9.30: Gathering at Cape Palmas High School
9.30 – 11.00: Parade in Harper City (from Airfield junction to the Market Area, Green Street heading to John Hilary Campus) and diffusion of key messages on hygiene promotion by SI and VIA staff
11.15 – 12.00: Outdoor activities by SI and VIA staff: songs, games and hygiene promotion activities related to handwashing practices and good hygiene behaviours
12.15 – 12.30: Indoor program by SI and VIA staff:
“The importance of celebrating the Hand washing day”.
Remarks by: County Educational Office representative, SI and VIA representative.
12.30 – 12.45: Soap distribution to schools representatives and donation certificate signing
12.45-13.00: Light refreshment for students and schools’ representative teachers

• Harper Demonstration Elementary School
• Big Town School
• Cape Palmas High School and VIA school
• East Harper School
• John Hilary School

Every school is present with a representative of 5 students, 4 members of the Child Health Club and 2 teachers.
