For the 5th year in a row, GOALS participated in Global Handwashing Day, this year with a boys soccer tournament. In between matches we had hygiene lessons from MSF/Doctors Without Borders, learned a handwashing song, and each of the hundreds of young men took home some soap. A HUGE success! 100 young men participated, along with 100 young women, 50 younger kids, and hundreds of parents, family members and community members came out to watch the festivities. In addition, each young person took home a bar of soap to reinforce what they learned.
