ROTARY CLUB OF ACCRA-TESANO Ghana

The aim of this project is to reach about 700 pupils, teachers, parents and the community members with awareness, training and advocacy on the need for regular hand washing after every activity and most especially before having meals. This activity would be done in five (5) basic schools and a public eatery where we would be encouraging all the pupils to wash their hands after every activity they perform and most especially even before they eat and should be with soap the right way. Aside from the schools we realize that a lot of older folks who are to know better often fall short in this regard when it comes to the washing of hands with soap after an activity and before meals. In most public eating outlets people would rinse their hands before the meal and would rather wash with soap after eating which is very bad & has a lot health risks.
