Girls Educational Committee Dadyal & Alif Ailaan Pakistan jointly organized Global Handwashing Day celebrations at a local girls high school.
The Chief guest was Ex Acting prime Minister of Azad State of Jammu Kashmir Malik Mohammad Nawaz along with many other esteemed guests. In their speeches they acknoledged that over two million children lose their lives to illnesses such as diarrhoea and pneumonia — many of which could be prevented by handwashing with soap at critical times. The event Aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of the importance of handwashing with soap as a cost effective way to prevent disease. At the end of event both organizations jointly distributed more than 400 soap packs to all children in attendance
