Arc Foundation celebrates with launch of Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidyalaya initiative in India

Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidyalaya (SBSV) and Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) celebrated Global Handwashing  Day October 17 and aimed to give children better heath and support safe school environments. The event was launched at Corporation Elementary School in Rathinapuri promoting basic hygiene awareness at 60 Schools simultaneously inclusive of all corporation elementary and middle schools simultaneously at the own school venues with our set of 200 volunteers at each spot impacting more than 9,000 young children between the age 6 – 13 years.This initiative will be undertaken in all the 82 Corporation  Schools taking this forward.
