The hygiene promotion team with the Initiative for People in Need of Arche Nova will celebrate Global Handwashing Day 2017 in Iraq. The event will take place in Qoratu, Alwand1 & Alwand2 camps for internally displaced persons, in Khanaqin city. 100 children in the schools in each camp will participate in games around handwashing, as well as a demonstration on the 8 steps of handwashing. The event will be organized by Arche noVa’s hygiene promotion team with the support of 30 hygiene mobilizers.
