Bosongo Community Veterinary & Agricultural Project (BOSCOVET) will celebrate Global Handwashing Day in Masongo Community, Kisii, Kenya, with 600 people that will include children, school teachers, health representatives, community-based organization representatives, and Education of Ministry representatives. Activities will include handwashing demonstrations to instruct attendees on avoiding germs, important times to wash hands and approved handwashing techniques, distribution of soap and pamphlets with instructions and a competition among the children on best hand-washing techniques. Global Handwashing Day messages will be conveyed through competitions, drama, and speeches.
