The Calamba Medical Center in partnership with Hospital Infection Control celebrated Global Handwashing Day on October 20, 2017. The celebration included a dance presentation, photo exhibit, and the awarding of “hand hygiene hero” per clinical areas (e.g. Nursing Service, Rehabilitation Department), awarding of Hand Hygiene Champion and Hand Hygiene Excellence awarding to clinical areas that excel in hand hygiene practices. Hand hygiene kits were also distributed.
