Community Education Services (CES) Canada celebrated Global Handwashing Day at Kimang’eti Girls High School at Malava Sub-County Kakamega County in western Kenya. This celebrated brought together 700 celebrants, including CES Kenya Alumnus; CES Students from Kakamega Muslim SS, Shieywe SS, and other schools; community members, parent councils, and the CES Kenya Directors. During the event CES demonstrated proper handwashing techniques to the community members and promoted awareness on the benefits of handwashing with soap and hygiene to prevent diseases.
