Citizens Association for Child Rights celebrated Global Handwashing Day 2017 in India

For Global Handwashing Day, Citizens Association for Child Rights (CACR) conducted a behavior change module on handwashing with soap in public (municipal) schools of Mumbai. The urban handwashing program was designed with UNICEF-India’s WASH team for students in classes 1 to 8. The second year of the intervention, CACR reached about 450 children in 10 schools, and continues to conduct the module year-round. Learn more about the program here.
