City of Cape Town hosted its Global Handwashing Day at Klipfontein Primary in Bonteheuwel, where they had a fun inactive session about water-saving methods, the cycle of water purification and handwashing demonstration, which included Captain germ fighter and Mr Germ through a skit and alternative methods of using a made tap called the squeeze bottle, which can be used in informal settlements or those withiut running water. Each child received a bag of educational material.
