Concern Life Foundation celebrates Global Handwashing Day 2017 in Ghana

Concern Life Foundation celebrated Global Handwashing Day at schools, namely Mangu methodist primary and junior high school and St Frances School in Wa, in the Upper West Region of Ghana. They sensitized over 1000 students on the need to wash hands with soap under running water, as well as the critical times they have to wash their hands. The sensitization also involved on how these children can wash their hands with practical illustration. As part of the activities we constructed a tippy tap for each school and the taught them how to construct more of the tippy tap in the school as well as their various homes and communities. The organization distributed veronica buckets, soap bars, and napkins to the schools to aid them in the handwashing process.
