The Global Handwashing Day-2015 has been celebrated with jubilant spirit in Dhanmondi, Sobhanbag & Uttara branches of Daffodil International School (DIS), Dhaka, Bangladesh today on 15 October 2015. This year’s theme for Global Handwashing Day is “Raise a hand for hygiene!” Teachers of all the branches highlighted significant points regarding the importance of this day in every classes and students shared their views also. Preschool learners had a wonderful demonstration of cleaning their hands with caring teachers. A resourceful pamphlet was distributed among all students to increase the awareness of health, hygiene and importance of hand wash.
October 15th marks the Global Handwashing Day, aimed at increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases.
