Each year, Deb supports the Global Handwashing Day initiative. This year, Deb’s campaign focuses on primary schools and encouraging students to become Handwashing Champions. It is an opportunity to engage with students creatively and help them to understand why, when and how to wash their hands with soap and water. Deb has a page specific to Global Handwashing Day on its website, http://www.debgroup.com/ca/global-handwashing-day-2017, offering a range of educational resources to engage school-aged children in the act of handwashing and learning about hand hygiene. Deb is also running a national “Happy Hands Contest”, designed to make learning about hand hygiene fun by allowing students to design their own custom soap dispensers and submitting them into the contest.
