DIACONIA celebrated Global Handwashing Day with a fair called: “Estar limpios y sanos está en nuestras manos” (Being clean and healthy is in our hands). Schoolchildren participated in a play, banner making and Handwashing demonstrations. There were 143 participants, from which 38 were adults. Children came from 3 elementary schools and 1 kindergarten from La Merced district, in the province of Aija, Ancash.
