The FHI 360 Bangladesh Country Office held its own Global Handwashing Day celebration in the office with an interactive presentation on the importance of handwashing and handwashing demos. Our WASHplus technical expert, Faruqe Hussain, and resident Wateshed/Happy Tap intern Edward Cairns conducted the presentation and demos. Staff learned about different types of handwashing stations and got to experiment with some of the common Bangladeshi versions, including the Happy Tap for which we are doing some initial market testing. All the staff (~22 present today) were engaged and participated.
