Grampari Celebration in Vaigaon School District

This year Grampari team celebrated Global Handwashing Day in remote village Vaigaon School District in Satara, Maharashtra, with people from 7 countries. This programme was attended by 200 student from 8 schools. There were 30 teachers and the block education officer of Wai taluka was also present.

The eight stalls in different classrooms gave information on when how and why we should wash our hands with soap. This was done with a lot of fun and enjoyment for the children. The most popular was throwing the ring the children enjoyed winning soaps, nail cutters and crayons.
