Hopes and Dreams Initiative celebrated in Abuja and Delta State with 8 public schools in the WASH reading rooms, which were created by the initiative. There were about 200 students including parents and guardians. The students did a drama, poems and a hand washing song in their native languages and English. All illustrating the importance of hand washing and making it a habit. The organizer then gave away 50 hygiene bags to 50 girls, containing supplies of sanitary pads to keep them in school.
