the Inner Wheel Club of Chandrapur celebrated Global Handwashing Day in several local schools.
They organized a drawing competition to generate awareness of the significance of hygiene.
The members spoke to the children promoting the message that the simple practice of handwashing can have a great impact on their health and nutrition status. Unhygienic practices lead to illness. Finally, the children were taught proper handwashing technique before receiving soaps to take home!
