Made With Hope celebrated Global Handwashing Day in Tanzania by teaching the children at the Made With Hope orphanage on the importance of handwashing with soap. 20 children were given an interactive talk with hand-made felt hands that had nasty green blobs on to demonstrate how germs spread and where germs can be found! After the lesson had finished the hosts used a tippy tap and the newly attached soap to make sure hands were clean – each participant was then rewarded with a ‘Handwashing Monitor’ badge and certificate which was worn with pride!
