Ebonyi Chapter of the Medical Women Association of Nigeria held two handwashing events. The first was on October 17 with a phone-in radio program that created awareness among the public. The second was on November 1, when the association visited two primary schools to conduct demonstrative sessions on proper technique of hand washing, in which organizers donated plastic buckets with tap and liquid soap.
