On the Global Handwashing Day all the children of the Medowie Public School www.medowiepublicschool.com from year one to year 6 participated in learning how to wash their hands properly and the moment to wash their hands to prevent the spread of germs. The training was conducted by the Hygiene Foundation of Australia, We want to thank Glen Whitton the school principal, Bob and the other teachers for facilitating these training sessions.
The Hygiene Foundation of Australia has embarked this year on training children/students in schools in the Newcastle and the Hunter region of NSW Australia as part of their community services program in bringing awareness to the importance of washing our hands in preventing the spread of diseases.
