Philippines Red Cross celebrated Global Handwashing Day 2017, reaching 15582 students and children, 1786 adults, 144 schools in 19 communities throughout the country. Activities included handwashing demonstrations, tippy-tap construction, glow-germ activities, health and hygiene promotional sessions, distribution of hygiene kits/essential hygiene items, a hand painting activity, and a poster making contest.
