QRC celebrated Global Handwashing Day in 4 camps, and 2 events outside of the camps with a number of campaigns and sessions held. Through one week in camps and schools, QRC worked with 750 Iraqi IDPs and Syrian refugees. Activities included sessions on handwashing, the critical times of hand washing, showcasing photos and videos that clarified the importance of handwashing, songs about handwashing, practicing handwashing, soap distributions, as well as a special session for women about the women’s issues and hygiene and a special session for disabled children.
