Save the Children celebrates Global Handwashing Day 2017 in Kenya

Save the Children worked with schools in Mandera and Turkana counties to mark this day. In Mandera West, a total of 1,500 students participated and performed skits and poems with handwashing messages. The best school was awarded at the end of the event. In Turkana, Save the Children worked with agencies including OXFAM, UNIDO, CRS and Save Sight to reach audiences through songs and drama. 825 children were reached.
