Since last year we have been celebrating Global Handwashing Day. On October 15th, we have done a series of activities that included health education and demonstration of hand washing steps and video showing to patients, women, and a group of mothers of children under 5 years old from Shrimati Kashibai Navale General Hospital. We also distributed soaps to patients. The second activity was a poster competition for Nursing college students based on the theme of this year’s Global Handwashing Day 2015. Our concluding session included a video demonstration for all of the nursing college students and staff, and then distributing prizes.
