On October 15, SEPRO Volunteers Youth Group celebrated Global Handwashing Day with schoolchildren in Homa Bay County on Mfangano Island. The school administration mobilized students and their parents and materials were provided by Population Service Kenya. The Ministry of Public health participated by conducting handwashing demonstrations and SEPRO donating handwashing kits for the event. Games on handwashing with soap were held at the end of the event.
