As per the DDPI order in all schools of Ramanagar District has observed the Global Handwashing Day on 9th Oct 2017. in Total 141,000 children from 1,435 schools have washed their hands to create advocacy on the importance of hand washing with soap. The Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayath, Ramanagara and Ramasamy Krishnan, Executive Director, SNEHA NGO, the officials from Education department have participated the event at the district level . The school head masters and SNEHA NGO ABCD trainers have organised the handwashing event at the schools.
