SUDEF Ghana commemorated Global Handwashing Day on October 13 at the ‘Stadium Basic School’ in Sunyani, the capital city of Brong-Ahafo region of Ghana. 150 school pupils 6 teachers, including 10 officials from SUDEF, Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA), and the local press. Activities included talks on the need for effective handwashing, and the need to make it a habit dwelling on the theme: ‘Make Handwashing a Habit’. After the talks, school pupils were taken through practical demonstration of handwashing with water and soap by officials from CWSA.
