Sustainable Society International celebrates in Cameroon

Sustainable Society International (SSI) celebrated Global Handwashing Day under the auspices of representative of the Ministry of Water, Resources, and Energy at the a school in Abong Mbang. During the event, a series of speeches by local administrative representatives, partners, and community-based organizations. Schoolchildren practiced handwashing and conducted cultural dance, poems, drawing competition and drama in front 560 invitees. Invitees later visited two modern pit toilets donated to the school by the Ministry of Water, Resources, and Energy.

In Yaoundé, SSI held activities organized at a government practicing primary school. 447 children and 13 teachers participated in drawing competitions, handwashing games, question & answer sessions, animations, and demonstrations on proper handwashing.
