Tearfund celebrated Global Handwashing Day at Khursibat primary school with 400 students with a variety of activities. Activities aimed to teach children the proper methods of handwashing and to highlight the importance of handwashing to prevent diarrheal diseases. This was followed by distributing soap bars, refreshments and t-shirts printed with the GHD logo to students to encourage them to share what they had learned with their friends and family.
