On October 15, Terre des hommes organises educational activities to increase awareness about the importance of handwashing with soap and promote good practices in public areas and schools in 154 communities across 11 countries: Bangladesh, Benin, Colombia, Guinea, Haiti, India, Mali, Mauritania, Nepal, Nigeria and Togo . Over 8,000 children and 4,000 adults will participate in learning activities such as games, painting contests, constructing handwashing stations and handwashing demonstrations. https://www.tdh.ch/en/news/handwashing-day-2017
