As part of the water, hygiene and sanitation program in the Thai Nguyen district, the organizations held activities to increase awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing for school aged children, teenager and adults.
To celebrate Global Handwashing Day, participants engaged in theater, drawing competitions, handwashing demonstrations, and quizzes. Soap was distributed to all present at the conclusion of the event.
