The Afghan Ministries of Public Health and Education in collaboration with UNICEF celebrated Global Handwashing Day in Kabul with huge participation of school students, teachers, school management committee members, government officials, and other community stakeholders at one of Kabul’s most-well known schools. More than 1,000,000 students and 4,000,000 people were reached by the message via various sources and mechanisms.
