TippyTap Kenya celebrates Global Handwashing Day 2017

This year TippyTap Kenya celebrated Global Handwashing Day on the 16th October at Isinya primary school in Kajiado county and was attended by over 3,000 pupils and partners, attempting to break the Guinness world record titled ‘most hands washed by tippy taps’ that saw 150 pupils wash their hands simultaneously using tippy taps. This years theme is Our Hands Our future, the event was graced by Kajiado county deputy governor Mr. Martin Moshishio together with TWG partners that included UNICEF, Amref, world vision, WASH Alliance, Ministry of Health, and the county council of Kajiado. Tippy taps were donated to nearby schools and the host school.
