Touching the Untouchables in Papua New Guinea celebrated Global Handwashing Day by hosting a shared awareness promotion with UNICEF and provincial health and education departments. 15 Students from Okiufa Primary School assisted with public awareness campaign on the importance of washing hands with soap and the key times to wash hands. With the assistance of a theatre group presentation and performances were held at West Goroka Primary School, Faniufa Primary School, Okiuifa Primary School, and more. In total 1,000 students and 500 community members celebrated.
