United Youth for Peace, Education, Transparency and Development in Liberia (UYPETD) combined efforts to celebrate both Global Handwashing Day and World Toilet Day. As part of its activities in Liberia, UYPETD conducted hygiene awareness in two communities. They also held strategic meetings with lawmakers on the governance aspect of WASH in Liberia and delegated a newly constructed disabled friendly toilet in District #10, Montserrado County to both disabled and community dwellers of Barchue Community. They reached over 2500 citizens with awareness around WASH.
