This year Global Handwashing Day intended to educate community dwellers on the important of handwashing at critical times as a means of washing Ebola away from Liberia. The celebration started with massive awareness on the prevention of Ebola by washing hands among community dwellers and climax with an indoor program where the Government of Liberia and international partners together with citizens discussed the importance of the day and the steps required by all actors in ending the Ebola crisis in Liberia and West Africa at large.
