Location: Dominican Republic Participants: 140 Organizations: OXFAM in Dominican Republica More than 140 children, teachers and community members walked the streets of Palo Verde, Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic for Global Handwashing Day to raise awareness about the importance of handwashing to prevent diseases such as diarrhea and cholera.
